Our Purpose

Looking back over my life I can readily identify the times when God kept me. Times when I made decisions that were not the” BEST” and God saw me through despite the clear error in my thinking and actions. God stepped in and spoke into my situation and showed me there was so much more for me than what I was choosing. Those worldly lusts lead to worldly challenges. Can you remember a time when that place, that thing, that person was what you wanted more than anything, and it just didn’t work out? Are you in the middle of that now?

When it is all said and done, and you keep your focus on God and His word, you will discover He has better plans for you.  For every moment I kept God first my purpose became clearer.  Despite the challenges we face, God uses them as opportunities to teach us more discipline, to develop more depth in us. He accelerates you faster, making your efforts more effective. With every opportunity, our purpose, our wealth, and our value become clearer.

 Eph 3:13-19

Time and Time again we have record of people mentioned in God’s word just ONCE! God prepared them for just that one moment in time to fulfill a God given purpose.

 2 Kings 5:13 Naaman’s servant

Joshua 2:1-3, 6:23-25 Rahab the Harlot

John 4: 28-30 The woman at the well in Samaria

Instead of relying on yourself, and pursuing YOUR dreams, try structuring your life to rely on fulfilling the purposes of God. Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. He then takes our natural ability and adds His gift of holy spirit to create supernatural results in our lives!

  1. Dear Robin. Thank you for your blog comment on June 20th. One of the last statements you made was just what I needed to hear, “Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready”. WOW! A simple statement that sets a foundation for victories in our lives. I am thankful for your life and your husbands. Much love, Judith
