In order to overcome evil, we must defeat the author of evil by seeing the Adversary First through the lense of the written word. Overcoming evil requires the operation of the manifestation of Discerning of Spirits. Because the whole world lies in wickedness, believers must look to scripture not culture to defeat the spirit relm. Rev. Smith goes behind the various figures of speech to show more depth of understanding behind devil spirits and thier operation.
Jeremiah 9:3
